Recyling Vinyl Records

There are tons of vinyl records that were pressed in the millions in the past that are now worthless and difficult to give away. As someone who has been immersed in the world of records and vinyl for many years, I've never seen any places actively advertising that they take and recycle old vinyl records for any reason. It's always bothered me because I don't want these records sitting in a city dump for the next 1000 years while they slowly degrade.

So I've made this page to list places that actively accept donations of vinyl for any reason. I want you to be able to easily find a place that will take these. There are many different ways to reuse vinyl from repurposing as art to melting down to repress records, and any of these are a better option than throwing them away.
