Additional Notes
This single was a one off by Cook and Spach, friends who worked together in the maintenance department of Piedmont Airlines. They also played together in the Swordsmen Quartet, a gospel group based in Winston-Salem. The first run of 500 records sold out and there may have been another pressing. Little Joe was a local hit in Winston-Salem as well as a favorite among trucking music fans in the handful of radio stations it got played on.
