Info
Pressing plant and recording studio located around the corner from the Ryman Auditorium. Owned by Jim Maxwell and Bill Connor. They did custom pressings and recordings for artists. Originally opened in 1958 at 412 Commerce, expanded to "about twice its former space" in 1960 at 20 Broadway. By 1971 it was located at 1313 Dickerson Road.
A commercial auction for the former location of Globe took place in late 1989. Presumably they closed sometime earlier that year.

"Globe recordings studios, an integral part of the scene in Music City, believes in catering to the individual. The well equipped studios, located on Broadway around the corner from the Ryman Auditorium, the home of the Grand Ol' Opry, and across the street from the Ernest Tub Record Shop is an important rung on the ladder of success in Nashville....At least that's how Jim Maxwell, President, and his cohort, Bill Connor, consider themselves."
